When I got here, one of the things that I wanted to do was have matching African clothes made for my and my children. I talked to Heidi about the kind of pattern I wanted to get and she and her seamstress went shopping and picked up the material on Saturday last week.
Sunday after church Yulalie came over and measured me for a new shirt to be made and also looked at pictures of my kids to have dresses made for the girls and a shirt made for Josiah.
Today after class she came over with the finished products. My shirt fits just fine and I think the dresses will fit the girls, although they will be pretty long on them. Josiah's shirt looks pretty good too and she had enough material to make him a pair of pants as well. I'm sure he will love them and while they look to be a little short, they will make great winter pajama pants for him as well.
I would post a picture, but I want the pattern to be a surprise for the kids when I get home.
