Today has been a great day. We were able to go out to the center and take individual pictures of 3 classes - about 150 kids. (Yes, they have really large class sizes.) This afternoon we were able to rest and then go to the pool. Boy does it feel amazing to jump into the water. This evening we are working on renaming the picture files.
Today is also my birthday - and it has been a fun day. Jason and the kids made a video singing happy birthday to me - and it was waiting on my email when I woke up this morning. Anne and Rosalie, the guest house workers, sang to me at breakfast. At lunch we had homemade chocolate cake and Brenda and Barb sang to me. At dinner, Jacquie Jensen one of the missionaries gave me a pot holder that she made from African fabric and Greg and Harry sang to me in French. (Which sounded remarkably like our English song with a heavy French accent :) Not a normal birthday for sure - but a very unique one that I will remember for a long time.
