I got another great birthday gift today. My dad gets to go home tomorrow (Sunday) which is a few days earlier than they anticipated. I got an email from my mom today that his white blood count was 5160 this morning which is in the normal range. The Nurse Practitioner who has been working with him all through the transplant said that he has done the best job, and had the fewest side effects of any patient that she has ever had.
It is a relief that he will be going home and doing well sooner than anticipated. I think about you a lot dad, even from 8000 miles away. Glad you are doing so well, and I can't wait to see your smooth head!
