A Few Pictures

This is a picture of the 15 students in my class.  We are crammed in there as you can tell.  It is nice to be able to update the blog now from Africa, because it allows me to include pictures.  I have 4 students in the class that I had on my first trip here so it has been fun to see them grow in their knowledge and handling of God's word.

Today we went to the falls in Boali.  You can see Jeff O'Brien and I along with the falls.  The bottom right hand picture was taken when we stopped on the side of the road just outside of the falls to take a picture of the African countryside.  It was a good thing we stopped on the way there because on the way home it was raining and you couldn't see anything at all.  We also ate lunch at the restaurant that was at the falls.  We ended up waiting for over 2 hours for them to make our food.  I guess this is Africa.  Many of the team ordered fish that was called carp on the menu.  It was really really good.  One of the other team mates, Pastor Jason Isaacs from Marysville had the plate of food that you see in the picture put in front of him.  It was the whole fish head along with a good sized piece of fish.  All of the bones were still in it so we just dug in with our fingers.

I ended up with the tail end - literally so I had two nice sized pieces of fish with the tail attached on the other end.
