Happy Thanksgiving!
Brenda and I arrived last night about 7 pm local time - with ALL of our luggage. This was a huge answer to prayer because lots of our supplies and food that we needed for the week were in those very heavy bags! We had supper with several of the missionaries including Greg Burgess, an Encompass Missionary from France that our church supports. He arrived on the same flight and is coordinating a Pastor's Conference next week where they will pass out French book sets to the Pastors.
We managed to stay awake until about 10 pm last night and then we went to bed. I tucked my mosquito net around me and went right to sleep with the light still on :)
We have some special plans for today including two times of celebrating Thanksgiving with Americans that are here in the country. I will be sure to take note of all the food and let you know.
Being so far away from home helps me to really appreciate all that God has blessed me with this Thanksgiving. Hope you are enjoying celebrating with your loved ones today.
