Instead of Black Friday shopping, I was a photographer's assistant today - and got a nice sunburn in the process. We went to the Big center and took class pictures of each of the morning classes. We had some great help and surprisingly we were able to finish all eight classes in about an hour. Then we drove outside of the city to a High school where lots of our students attend. We were able to take all their class pictures as well - only they were in the shade and we were in the sun - hence the sun burn. They have an aloe plant here, so I am coating myself with slime.
One of the most exciting events of the day was seeing Chamberlin - a high school orphan. Some of you may remember that he was very sick last year - we weren't sure exactly what was wrong with him - and wondered if he would have to have surgery or would even live. God was very gracious and answered our prayers and it was very cool to see him smiling.
The rest of the day has been a very relaxed schedule - working on writing more names on the thank you cards and editing the pictures.
We continue to have a really good time with the missionaries - laughing and sharing stories together. It is so fun to see how you can meet people and really bond together in a short time.
