Well the first night was great as far as sleeping weather. The missionaries have talked about the uncharacteristically cool weather that they have had here for the last few weeks which I won’t complain about at all. I would have told you it was in the mid 70’s here last night and this morning I am in long pants and a golf shirt and am very comfortable. Praise the Lord for a good first night’s sleep and hopefully very little jet lag. Clancy confirmed it for me last night though. . . (at least when I am overly tired). . . I snore! But so did he!
The electricity is out right now (yes, my laptop is on battery), and I am waiting for a cup of nice fresh roasted coffee. I brought 6 pounds with me and will leave the rest of it here for the missionaries.
We start teaching class at 8:00 this morning and would appreciate your prayers. Most of you reading this blog know that I am teaching the book of Revelation again like the last time I was here. It is good in that I didn’t have to do a lot of prep to get ready for the class, but hard knowing that I have 40 hours (really 20 with a translator) to teach the entire book.
I’m going to do some prep for my teaching. . . I will write more later.
